Volume 7 of the "Chants of the Russian Emigres" Series Released

[July 20, 2009] The San Francisco publisher "Russkiy Pastyr" has released volume 7 in the "Chants of the Russian Emigre" series. CD 7 is recorded by the Male Choir of the Representation Church of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Monastery under the direction of Vladimir Gorbik and is released in honor the 1st anniversary of the restoration of canonical unity in the Local Russian Orthodox Church.

The following composers of the Russian diaspora are represented on volume 7: Ivan Gardner, Nicholas Kedrov (pere), Maxim Kovalevsky, Michael Konstantinov, Alexander Labinsky, Boris Ledkovsky, Nicholas Tcherepnin and Alexander Zhavoronkov.

If previous volumes in the "Chants of the Russian Emigres" are any indication, this CD will quickly sell out and become a collectors' item: volumes 1-6 are sold out.
