St. Andrew’s parish celebrated its Feast Day on 12/29, after inclement weather prevented His Grace Bishop Theodosy from traveling to Carson City, NV, two weeks ago.

During the celebration, two men were tonsured as Orthodox Readers, strengthening the growing parish.

This community originally left the Anglican Church due to revisionism, becoming a Western Rite ROCOR parish. Over time, it transitioned into the more common Eastern Rite. I counted nearly 50 people in attendance, despite the cold weather keeping several regular members away.
